We know how easy it is to get burned by a dodgy supplier. That's why nothing gets listed on ResellerVault until we've done our homework.
Not just anyone can get listed
Before we even look at a supplier properly, they have to clear some basic hurdles:
- Registered on Companies House
- Trading for at least 2 years
- A real UK address — not a PO box
- VAT registered where required
- Actually stocking what they claim to sell
What we actually look at
Every supplier goes through the same process. No shortcuts.
We verify they're a real, registered UK business with actual trading history.
We check Trustpilot, Google reviews, and their social media. A pattern of complaints is a red flag we won't ignore.
We make sure they actually sell what they say they sell, at the quantities listed. No vague promises.
We check for any complaints or issues. Any red flags and they're out.
Who you won't find here
Just as important as who we include:
- Unregistered or unverifiable businesses
- Dropshippers pretending to be wholesalers
- Anyone with a history of unresolved complaints
- Anyone we can't independently verify
We review suppliers regularly
We aim to review every listed supplier on a regular basis. Listings show a 'Last verified' date so you can see when we last checked. If something changes between reviews, our Report a Supplier button means the community helps us catch it fast.

Every supplier listing has a Report This Supplier button. It comes straight to us, it's completely confidential, and we investigate before the next monthly review. We can't catch everything — but when you flag something, we act on it.
What vetting means — and what it doesn't
Our vetting process means a supplier has cleared our basic checks at the time of listing — they're a real, registered UK business with a trading history we can verify. It does not mean we guarantee their future conduct, the quality of every order, or that they will never make mistakes. No directory can promise that. What we can promise is that we remove suppliers quickly when issues are reported, and we never list anyone we can't independently verify.
Joblot Sellers — a different kind of listing
Not every listing on ResellerVault is a registered business — and that’s by design. Alongside our checked wholesale suppliers, we also feature Joblot Sellers: individual sellers and home-based businesses who sell bundles, clearance stock, and mixed lots directly to other resellers.
Joblot selling is a well-established part of the reseller ecosystem. Some of the best deals you’ll find come from individuals clearing genuine stock — returned goods, end-of-line items, house clearances, and overstocks that never make it into wholesale catalogues. These sellers play a real and valuable role, and we’re glad to include them.
Because joblot sellers aren’t registered companies, our standard Companies House and trading history checks don’t apply to them. We verify that they have an active, identifiable presence — a real eBay store, Whatnot profile, Vinted shop, or similar — before listing. But the nature of joblot selling means the level of scrutiny is different to a full business listing, and buyers should go in with that in mind.
How to protect yourself when buying stock
- Always start with a small test order before committing to volume
- Pay by PayPal Goods & Services or credit card where possible — never bank transfer on a first order
- Ask for a company invoice before paying
- Check the supplier's Companies House number yourself at companieshouse.gov.uk
- Search their business name + "reviews" or "complaints" before ordering
- If something feels off, trust your gut and use the Report button
